What goes into every candle

Soy-based waxes, lead-free cotton wicks, and measured fragrance loads, poured by hand in temperature-regulated batches in our Newfoundland studio.

Our candles and wax melts are formulated with soy-based waxes for a steady, consistent burn. Each batch is selected for clean performance and a smooth, even melt pool.

We use lead-free cotton wicks sized to each vessel and wax blend, so the flame stays controlled from the first light to the last. Every wick is checked before it leaves the studio.

Fragrance is blended at measured concentrations so each scent carries evenly through the wax without overpowering the room. We record every load so each batch stays consistent.

We track wax temperature throughout each batch, holding it within a set range before any fragrance is added.

Measured fragrance is stirred into the melted wax until it is evenly combined, then the blend is rested briefly.

Each candle and wax melt is poured by hand into its vessel or mould, with the wick held centred as the wax sets.

Finished pieces rest in a cool, still space while the wax cures. Each one is inspected before packing and shipping.
